I use most of these techniques personally and some of them work really really well. I've got to sixfigure taffic levels with them so hope this helps anyone struggling. 1. Create a cartoon mascot for your site – then hold a competition for someone to create the best game for it – pay the winner a decent amount. 51. Make sure you have a memorable domain name that is short and catchy. 52. Use a well-searched for keyword within your domain name to help rank for that keyword. 53. If you sell a product ask someone else who sells a product to list your product with theirs, and you’ll do the same for them – split commissions on sales. 54. Use your robots.txt file to stop Google indexing certain directories and pages on your blog (such as archives) to avoid duplicate content issues). 59. Create a couple of small 10 page sites related to your main site. Offer links on these smaller sites in return for links to your main site (this is triangular reciprocal linking). 60. Get yourself known as an expert and get featured in offline magazines, TV and radio stations. 61. Use an auto-translator service to translate your site into other languages – put it in a subdirectory and watch foreign traffic come in. 62. Make posts about sex (don’t have to post anything rude) – and watch the porn surfers find their way to your site through Google. 63. Post about celebrities current events if it relates to your niche – there’s always a lot of people looking up celebrity stuff. 64. Write good headlines/titles – good titles get more clicks. 65. Get some stickers with your domain name on. Go out and stick them on strangers and say “My Website Yeah, Check it out.”

1. Wait several hours before proofreading. Otherwise you might be thinking about what you just wrote, rather than watching for typos and punctuation errors. 2. Eliminate distractions. This is very detailed work so you need to be focused. 3. Print out a copy of your work, rather than reading it on a computer screen. To make it even easier, print a double-spaced draft copy. 4. Read the document aloud. This helps to highlight punctuation errors and missing words. 5. Use a piece of colored paper as a guide. This will help to keep your eyes on the line you're working on. If you don't have any colored paper, use a ruler. 6. Read backwards for spelling mistakes. Yes, that's right! You'll find spelling errors much easier if you're going from right to left. Otherwise you might unconsciously start reading, and not "proof" reading. 7. Use a different colored pen such as green or red to make your correction marks. These colors are much easier to see than black or blue. 8. Carefully check numbers and totals. Refigure all calculations and look for misplaced commas and decimal points.

Affiliate Marketing Tip 1 – Content Publishing Search engine traffic is the most targeted traffic. You need to build your website with the objective of ranking well in the search engines. Unique content with good information will get you there. Spend time researching forums and the search engines to find out what are the common troubles or challenges your audience is facing so that you may offer some solutions. Be sure to include great product reviews on your website because many people are searching for that. Weave the reviews into your content so that it does not sound like a sales pitch. “Speak” to your prospects from the point of understanding their difficulties and problems and how the products can offer a solution. Make your headlines attractive and catchy, and explain the product benefits clearly. Post testimonials of happy customers. These are the best presell content you can have. Affiliate Marketing Tip 2 – List Building I simply cannot overemphasis on the need to follow up with your prospects. Each visitor to your site is valuable. Make sure you have an opt-in box for them to subscribe to a weekly or monthly newsletter you have. This is so that you can continue to keep in touch with them and offer them useful information to build a relationship with them. Be sure to broadcast positive product reviews occasionally. Do not go for quick bucks and promote just about everything the whole world is promoting. Be selective and promote only the best! Affiliate Marketing Tip 3 – Targeted Traffic Driving Do not go crazy when it comes to driving traffic. Some affiliate marketers go on frenzy and start buying all kinds of traffic. What you really need is targeted traffic. One good way is to imagine yourself as your potential customer. If you need information, where would you go? Forums, Ezines and Search Engines are great places to find the information. So these are excellent places for you to advertise. Contribute regularly to the article directories and ezine directories, optimize your website for the search engines, be active in forums and set up PPC advertising.

What I'd like to do today is provide some tips and techniques that I personally use when creating and monitoring PPC ad's. Hopefully these tips will help you in your future marketing endeavors. Experimenting With Different Search Engines There are many PPC search engines, with some being better than others. The top two are Google and Yahoo, which was previously known as Overture. It's a good idea to start your PPC campaigns with a small budget, spreading it out over a few different search engines to experiment and see where your target market may be lurking. Selecting the Right Keywords The keyword selection process is probably the most important of all when it comes to creating your PPC ad's. You'll need to select keywords that are specific to your product or service offering, but you need to be careful not to select keywords that are extremely popular, as this may deplete your PPC funds sooner than expected. Attracting People to Your Ad Now that we've selected our keywords, we need to get those searching to click on our ad, which in turn will result in them clicking through to our web site and potentially purchasing our product. One of the simplest ways to get peoples attention is to use their search keywords in the title of your PPC ad. This has been proven to increase click-thru rates on ad's by over 50%. Tracking Your Clicks and Conversions The fundamental core of a successful advertising campaign -- whether it be a PPC ad, banner ad or even newspaper ad -- is knowing whether or not your ad's are actually converting into sales or not. Conclusion Hopefully I've provided you with a clear insight into PPC advertising and techniques that you can use to improve your advertising campaigns. It pays -- pun intended -- to do your research and understand your target market, because the rewards can sometimes be much more than you expected.

Like any field, excellent writing requires study, practice and mentorship. Very few successful authors ever published their first draft of their first work. Nearly all had to expend considerable effort to improve their craft. Here are some ways to prepare for that moment of publication. These tips also help keep you on your toes after publication for better and better writing results as your career develops. 1) Read, read, read in your field 2) Cultivate role models. 3) Research your markets. 4) Take classes. 5) Join or start a writer’s group in your area. 6) Find a writing buddy with whom to check in on a regular basis. 7) Play with changing voices. Copy other writers you admire. 8) Accept the reality of rewriting. 9) Get clear on what you want out of getting published. 10) If what you want is to get published in the least amount of time, consider hiring a ghostwriter.

1. Start Writing Okay, so this tip is obvious. For some, it's a question of what to write about, for others how to write. Write how and what you want. What kind of books do you like to read? Fiction, Mystery, science fiction, how to books? How about articles, reports, maybe you're interested in journalism. Whatever the case may be, to get your creative juices flowing, start writing! Don't worry about how it sounds, grammar or other mistakes, you can go back to fix these. 2. The Library You've probably heard about some books that writers refer to, this could be writer markets, e-book publishing, self publishing and generally how to improve your writing. Bu what do you do when you can't afford to buy these books from your local bookstore or online? A trip to your library is the key. Many libraries carry writer resource books, which if you have a library card, are free. If you're living out of the area, the library may require a fee for membership. The book you're looking for may not always be at your local library, however libraries borrow from other libraries in and out of state. The method of receiving outside books is called Inter-Library Loan. Later on, if you find the book to be a great resource, you may be able to purchase a used copy online. 3. Researching The Internet is also another good resource for information. Keep in mind that not every resource you find online is going to be an honest good resource. It will take time to sort out which websites are useful. Most information is free, so you can sit back and research in the comfort of your home. If you don't have a computer with Internet access, check your local library and see if you can use one of theirs. 4. Contents After writing a while, you may want to enter contents. Some require an entry fee. I suggest staying away from the entry fee contents until you've entered some other free ones. That way you can get a feel for how contests work. Spend some time writing and re-writing your entries. If you've written your entry in 5 or so minutes, th judges will notice it immediately. You wouldn't want a reputation for sloppy work.
